One of the five powerful hidden villages. Konohagakure is home to the Hokage. As one of the most powerful villages it is looked to for help from many places; to which it gladly obliges. Konoha is home to powerful clans such as the Hyuga, Inuzuka, Nara and the late Uchiha.

| Forest Outskirts
When not in a village, one will find themselves wondering about in a vast forest. There are many dangers here, including the nukenin that call this place home. There are several campsites set up to provide travels with a safe haven, food, and a place to rest. A few decide to call these sites home, and stay on permanently.

This was supposedly the place in which a huge ancient battled happened. Two giant statues of the first and second hokages stand next to a waterfall, which turns into an ongoing river.

One of the five powerful hidden villages. Ninja from here have high tensions and dislikes when it come to those from Konoha. Their Tsuchikage is said to be a strong man, but no one outside of the village has ever heard nor seen him. Some speculate that the tsuchikage is actually a woman.

| Mountain pass
A long winding pathway through the mountain. It is very dangerous, as rocks will fall with little to no warning. There are few places grow vegetation here; what does grow is crowded around a tiny steam. There is a small camp settlement in the middle of the pass for those that need rest, but other then that this road is a long and empty.

| Winding Caves
A rather twisted and deep tunnel that stretches out into many other caves and tunnels. It is very easy for one to get lost down here, as it is very easy for one to hide. All caves connect with one another through this complicated tunneling system, and only special people are granted with the knowledge of how to travel them.

| Boulder's Peak
A landslide years ago created a miniature mountain which overlooks Iwagakure. This landmark is known as boulder's peak and although it seems like a dangerous place to have, this peak is riddled with loose rock, and threatens to fall down at any time.

One of the five powerful hidden villages. Kumogakure is the hidden village of the land of lightning. The Raikage and cloud ninja hail from here.

| Mizutamari
The largest of the many hotsprings in the area. There is a building nearby in which towels and the like can be purchased. Due to its size, it is nearly an attraction and there is hardly a time when there is no one there. Mizutamari was named as a "funny" way of indicating its size by kumogakure's first raikage; the name stuck and as been referred to as "puddle" ever since.

| Entrance River
A rather thin and winding river weaves itself through the foot of the mountain that leads into Kaminari no Kuni. This is one of the few entrances into the country, and the safest, most traveled route. Only specially made boats can steer this river, so granted access is a must. Anyone without such permission much chose to climb over the mountain, which will most likely end in his or her death.

| Choushi Kousaten
At the vein's crossing one can come face to face with a wirling pool. This pool is were nearly all the tiny streams and rivers meet; the waters are said to have special haling powers here as they beleive thi is the heart of the world.

One of the five powerful hidden villages. Kiri is the smallest of villages on the smallest of countries. They once held very gruesome graduation exams. After the boarders opened they had stopped such things but now the new mizukage has started to bring such practices back.

| Touketsu dock
The only known dock into Mizu no Kuni. Workers here use smaller dinghies to make sure a pathway through the ice is melted for boats to get through. Any other route is dangerous, as boats will most likely run into the sharp and hidden ice in the waters.

| Kagami Nakitama
Along the southern edge of the small island, there stand a giant heap of ice. Its surface is smooth, and surprisingly not as cold as one would think. Inside the ice there seems to be faces, smiling happy faces that seem to wink and speak as the sun hits them from different directions. This is the Kagami Nakitama(window of departed souls). Said to be the souls of all the warriors lost in battle, they now grant great power to those that seek it and are willing to pay the price.

| Kekkon Grounds
Snow-less, grass-less, lifeless. The ground here is so saturated with blood from centuries long past that it is impossible for anything to thrive here. The smell of death can be inhaled, and the taste of your own life seems to slip into your throat. This is bloodstain grounds. Not used for years now, this battleground of feuding clans still bares the scar of the long lost tradition.

One of the five powerful hidden villages. Nestled in a vast and unrelenting desert is wind country's hidden village. Built above and underground water source, this village has adapted ways to deal with the extreme heat and monstrous windstorms. Ninja from here as very powerful, and most are skilled and trained in one art; which proves them to be very effect ninja.

If you were to look hard enough in the changing desert sands, you will see a faint line that follows all the way through. It’s hard to find, but once you spot it, following it is simple enough. This is the broken path. It is made of sand bricks and leas the way to Sunagakure.

| Shukaku Ichidou
A tall mound is normally overlooked by outsiders; this however is a sacred place. This is the shrine dedicated to Shukaku. Inside priests sing hymns of the beast and tell stores of the one that created him. It looks old, cracked and dirty from the outside, but inside it is pristine and well taken care of. There is said to be a special chakra enhancing “egg” here, but those rumors have never been proven.

| Rurousha Oasis
A rather beautiful area, which is the only place that greenery can be found in abundance in the desert. It is filled with tents and booths, which belong to the nomads of the desert. This is their home when they are ready to rest for a while from their travels. Sunagakure holds the nomads in high respect, and does not allow their ninja to enter their camping area without good cause for fear that the good tiding between them might break. The nomads are kind, and allow anyone entrance to rest and eat up and have been known to bring unlucky travelers that get lost in the vast desert to their paradise.

A hidden village forged by the hands of Orochimaru after his takeover. After his fall, the village went back to their rather bland and peaceful lives as rice farmers. | Dokuja Koiru
In the marsh a tangled patch of trees have roots that lift from the water, coiling around each other making a cave-like area. This is called the poison serpents coil due to the fact that not many have ever returned from this wooded area and those that have returned with gruesome dismemberments and a strange sickness.

| Plank Road
Creaky pathways of plank that rise from the swampland in intricate paths create the roadway into Ta no Kuni. As the country is a small one, most roadways are built like this so as not to have people walk on their main source of income, their rice.

Smack in the middle of the rolling fields of rice is a tall tower. This tower is where the villagers go to offer the rice goddess small trinkets in order for her blessing to keep their rice growing.

| Yuugao field
A large patch of moonflowers mysteriously grows on this island. No one quite knows why they grow here, as the climate is not the proper one for these flowers. It is a favorite spot for many of the young women to relax. Flowers from this field are also a favorite at weeding and funerals on Tsuki no Kuni.

Both docks to this island are named this, one at the northern tip, and one at the southern tip. There are many more entrances into the island, but there are the largest.

An extremely small village in which most shinboi are weak. They reside on a small island in the middle of lake under the boughs of a gigantic tree. Because of their size and lack of great ninja, they're the only honestly hidden village, keeping their small fortress a secret say for a few trusted individuals of konohagakure.

The golden rainforest suyrrounds amegakure. Its named so for the flutters of golden light that filter through the trees that make it seem as though the entire forest is covered in a golden dust.

| Kusagakure
nestled within a filed of numours wildflowers lies the hidden village of Kusa no Kuni. the houses seem made of bamboo and are quite study despite their outward apperance. It looks as though it would be a happy place, but the shinboi here are actually quite cruel and ruthless. The Akiyama clan has a grudge against this village and the same goes for the village. Grass ninjas and an Akiyama family members do not go well together.

Here they worship an idol known as the Great Bear. It is said the stars gave birth to the giant beast to protect the lands. The story is that the first leader of the village defeated the Great Bear, and in awe of the shinboi's great power the bear allowed them to stay on his land. It is said if you follow the moon rays at night you can catch a glimpse of their protector.

| Hoshikuzu Path
There is but a small line of flowers that flows through the land of the bear and into Hoshigakure. These flowers grow only here, and feeding off of them are a rare species fireflies. At night, the path is illuminated by the millions of their tiny blinking behinds. These insects are so small that they look as if they’re jut tiny specs of shimmering light along a pathway. Because of this, the path is called the Stardust Path.
